The new provisions of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 are designed to protect your rights with respect to personal information held by the Catholic Development Fund.

The Fund records names, addresses, date of birth, contact details, your bank account details, financial transactions and balances of accounts held at the Fund. All your personal information is kept secure.

The Fund realises the importance of privacy to account holders and as such does not release any information of records stored to a third party for their use without the account holders authority unless required by law.

The Fund understands and appreciates the concerns account holders have regarding the privacy, confidentiality and security of information obtained from you. To ensure complete privacy, the Fund has adopted the Ten National Privacy Principles as contained in the Act. A copy of the principles may be viewed at the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner at www.privacy.gov.au.
